New members are welcome to come for a two week free trial with the any of our club coaches (subject to space – please contact club prior to session) – After this they will be required to join the club.
Please note: There may be waiting lists for some squads due to high demands. We are looking for new coaches and volunteers to help our current team. If you are interested in becoming a part of the team, please contact us.
Waiting lists are managed by our Track and Field Admin. When space becomes available they will work with coaches to move athletes into squads.

Introduction to Athletics: 365 Academy (7-10 Year Olds)
In 2015, the club began its Introduction to Athletics: 365 Academy for children under 11 years of age.
The Introduction to Athletics: 365 Academy is coached by Alison Ross and aims at developing the FUNdamental movement skills (vital to all sports) through a variety of fun, multi-event sessions.
The Academy is based upon the Athletics 365 Programme designed by England Athletics. The programme develops technical aspects of the sport as well as looking at the athlete’s physical, mental and emotional development. It also looks at their lifestyle and social development.
Developing Athletics (11+ Year Olds)
The Developing Athletics group continues to builds upon the foundations established in the Introduction to Athletics: 365 Academy.
We have three coaches at this development level – Alan Clarke and Margaret Saville. This development level maintains a focus upon developing the FUNdamental movement skills as well as beginning to learn the basic technical aspects of the different event groups.
