Thank you for entering our Cleethorpes AC New Year’s Day 10K race, we hope that your training has gone well and you’re looking forward to the race. The forecast is excellent, so on a fast, flat course there could be some PBs waiting for you.

If you have been feeling at all unwell, we would respectfully ask you to stay at home. While the evidence remains clear that the infection risks presented by outdoor events such as the Cleethorpes 10K are exceptionally low and the public health benefits are incredibly high, if you are at all unwell, please respect your running colleagues and stay at home.

There has been some confusing information on Facebook about registering for the race on the actual day, at Cleethorpes Cricket Club. We apologise for any confusion caused. As part of our risk assessment for the race, we have avoided any indoor gatherings connected with the race, to reduce the risk of infection. There is no registration on the day, as you will already have your race number.

There are plenty of toilet facilities available in Cleethorpes, that are open from 08:00 including those to the rear of Kingsway Kiosk and at Boating Lake car park. Also Cleethorpes Leisure Centre will be open from 09:30 for the use of the toilets only, and there is NO use of changing facilities.

On behalf of Cleethorpes AC, we would like to wish you and your families a very happy, healthy and safe 2022.

Happy New Year!
